Participation

Many-a-times, you might've heard that participation is more important than winning. I agree with it wholeheartedly. The thing is, if you win a competition, you'll forget it easily and move on. But if you participate and lose, you'll learn something new and remember it whenever you get an opportunity to win the next time. Try your best to win, of course. But even if you lose, learn something new, and wait for a new opportunity to win!

Memories #1

Life has a lot of memories. Just like the one that I'm missing recently. Being busy at college, I've attended my Nani's (maternal grandmother's) house really less. And that's why maybe I'm missing the moments I've spent at her house. One such memory is of peeling boiled potatoes alongside my Nani and cousin brother. Both of us are of the same age and whenever I used to go to stay at their house, and a cooker for boiled potatoes was needed, we were the ones who helped with peeling them since there were almost 7 people to eat! The two of us used to sit besides our Nani, taking a potato from the cooker and peeling them while listening to the stories of her childhood and youth. Just talking with them is one of my favourite memories!

Nature and its effects

  "Nature: the one that soothes and nurtures." Hi everyone, so today, we are going to talk about Nature. The beautiful walks during the nighttime, the rush hours to go to school in the morning, the evening time when we go out to buy snacks, etc are the normal interactions that I've had with nature. Oh! I forgot about one interaction, now that I'm in college, the afternoon college visits which make me sweat and huff all the time. Nature is truly beautiful, not just in words but in the way we perceive it. I feel that we connect with nature in ways that we ourselves don't know. Your every step is connected to nature. The wind that calms you down when you are angry, the night walks that make you feel like you are free, the morning sunlight which looks like a ray of hope, the blooming trees showing you that you can always grow, etc. There are innumerable examples.
